I have to tell you, my political views are conservative. But nonetheless, Mr. Obama is now my president and I will be an advocate for him. Not because I just want to jump on the bandwagon, but because he is our leader. He will be faced with decisions that you and I cannot imagine. Please, Please, pray for him. He needs it. No matter what your political views are. Pray for him. Cause here's the thing. It's not his job (according to our constitution) to do all of the things that he says he would like to do. If he can do it... more power to him. I wish him well. But it's not his job. It's his job to protect and defend this country. All that other stuff... feed the poor, care for the needy, bring compassion, hope and change... That's the church's job. (according to Jesus, anyway!) Again, you don't believe me... read the book. It's all in there.
The point is this. The church is asleep. It's time we WAKE UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would love to get into this in depth, but I promised y'all that I was going to rant about worshiping in truth and spirit. So, tonight, I'll say farewell. I'll talk to you all soon.
Pray for our new President. And may God bless him and keep him well for the next four years. May He grant him the wisdom to do the things he needs to do, and the courage to do them.
Blessings

Good to see you back in the blogsphere. You have great things to say and they should be said.
Hi, Robbie. I think I may be your cousin. Is your mother's name Anabel?
Hi Lori. My Grandmother was Ana Belle. My father is her son, Bruce.
Okay...then your dad, Bruce, is my cousin and you and I are second cousins! My dad is Albert Sonnier, Jr. (your mother's brother). I see that you are a Christian. So am I. May the Lord bless your ministry and your family!
I meant that my dad is your grandmother's brother.
well, very nice to catch up with you. I've often heard of my grandmother talk about her brother Albert Jr. I've been to orange, recently with my dad and grandpa. Did we by any chance meet while we were there. It's hard for me to keep track. I met soooo many people. It was the first time I'd been back there since I was a kid. Thank you for your prayers. I am having sooo much fun, now that I'm in ministry full time. God has really turned my world upside down. (in a good way). Keep in touch and let me know what's going on with you. Blessings!
Haven't been to Orange in years...since I was a teenager (am now 50). Currently living in Florida. Would like to go visit Uncle Tommy (your grandma's brother) and Aunt Merle, especially since Uncle Tommy is not doing so well. Anyways, when I was a child, your grandma, grandpa, and their children (including your dad) would occasionally come to Texas (to Aunt Ella's) to visit. They told us kids that people "back home" had one leg shorter than the other since they did so much walking on the hills--and we believed them! What a hoot! Keep serving Him!
