John 4:19-26

"Sir," the woman said, "you must be a prophet. So tell me, why is it that you Jews insist that Jerusalem is the only place of worship, while we Samaritans claim it is here at Mount Gerizim, where our ancestors worshiped?"

Jesus replied, "Believe me, dear woman, the time is coming when it will no longer matter whether you worship the Father on the tis mountain or in Jerusalem. You Samaritans know very little about the one you worship, while we Jews know all about him, for salvation comes through the Jews. But the time is coming-indeed it's here now- when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship Him that way. For God is Spirit, so those who worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth."

The woman said, "I know the Messiah is coming-the one who is called Christ. When he comes, he will explain everything to us."

Then Jesus told her, "I AM the Messiah!"

Catching Up

Hey all! This week, I've been trying to catch up. The last time we talked, I was about to have a garage sale. Just an update... it went off without a hitch, and we made about three hundred bucks, selling junk! (well, not all junk)

Anyway, Tiff's outta town this week, so it's just me and the little man! I love these times. I know it can be overwhelming to be the only parent in the house, especially when the little one has been sick (Cason has been sick all last week. Thankfully, he's much better this week!) Anyway, I love it when he and I get a chance to just spend time together, by ourselves. He's such a mess! He's always into something. But I love to see his ingenuity. He can look at something and figure out how to get into it, mess it up, or just be creative and play with it for an hour before getting bored! It makes me sad though, to some degree, because I know that one day soon, he won't want to just play with his trains and watch his cartoons. I only hope that I build into him in such a way that he will still want to hang around me!

Well, I don't have that much to say today, so I'll go for now. I'm sorry I didn't get the chance to post about the songs from this and last week, so here they are. I'll talk to y'all soon. Have a blessed Day!
